DIGITAL BOOK

The Digital Book is a piece to display the work of J. Abbott Miller in the "Design Now" show, showcasing 23 of America's top working designers.
While J. Abbott Miller's work is almost exclusively in printed form, a digital option for the exhibit was explored as his work on 2wice magazine was too voluminous to be shown published. His work often deals with the materiality of paper, so the digital book is thrust into a skid of a book's rawest material -- paper.
Books were presented as dynamic objects captured inside a digital environment, allowing Matthew Barney's Cremaster Book to show not just movie stills, but full sequences of the movie inside it's "pages".
